  Good food at a good price. Definitely get your money's worth. The club sandwich is really good so are the chicken tenders. Excellent onion rings with sauce . Lot's of appetizers to choose from. Usually a 10 minutes or longer wait time.

  Cookie cutter casual food where there is minimal true kitchen prep and cooking. For example, the carrots in the chicken Alfredo parts were whole baby carrots like from the grocery, not sliced, and the sauce tasted like it came from an industrial bucket of premade sauce. Alfredo is a simple sauce to make, and shame on Cheddar's for taking the easy way out to make generic food that is simply nothing to write home about. The leftovers were left at the restaurant because it wasn't worth any effort to reheat. Even the cookie monster, which used to be baked in a cast iron skillet years ago (when we lived in Michigan) but now it's a cookie that is baked, then added to a serving skillet, and lacking the crispy, chewy, soft combination textures that comes from true attention to to the actual craft of cooking/baking; whether it's savory or sweet foods at the restaurant.
